I was reading a few reviews of the damage sustained by the guided-missile cruiser USS Port Royal (CG 73) after she grounded on a reef near Honolulu’s Reef Runway a week or so ago. And in seeing the ship out of the water it was hard to pay attention to the damage. Something was distracting. Especially when compared to other ships of the line. See if you can see what I mean in when compared to a few of her sisters (and a cousin).
Something just seems odd, peculiar even. I mean outside the damage a 9,600 ton cruiser can sustain while high centered on a coral reef in Hawaii.
Maybe one of the Black Shoes known to visit these here parts can help enlighten the Tailhook community as to what’s up with this. Or if not we’ll turn this into a “You Caption It Friday".”
Seriously… Is someone watch’n a bit too much “Color Splash” on Home and Garden TV?
Not that there’s anything wrong with that…
Blue state/red state thing I guess... though SC has been a red state for the last eight cycles. Alternately camo to keep bubble heads from seeing her, though I doubt it will work.
